Brecken and Chase’s wedding was beautiful. It started in the morning at the Salt Lake LDS Temple and finished that evening at Earls Lodge at Snow Basin.
Brecken’s dress was fabulous and so special. It was made out of pieces of the dress that her mom wore when her parents got married. Her and her mom made it together.
When Chase saw Brecken for the first time he cried and it was so sweet and tender. They are the perfect couple!
One of my favorite memories from their special day is when Brecken’s dad told the story of how he would sing to her. You see Brecken was adopted as an infant and she would always cry. He dad was the only one who could get her to stop crying and he would do so by singing the song Edelweiss from The Sound of Music. In the song where it says “bless my home land and I” he would change the words to “bless my Breckie and I”. He sang the song at the dinner and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. He then gave her an Edelweiss plant to remind her that she is always blessed and always his little girl. It was one of the most tender moments I have ever witnessed.
Congratulations Brecken and Chase!
