Kamille has been one of my dearest friends for a long, LONG time.   She and I first met when I visited the Clinique counter and asked for help with my skin.  She ended up helping me and she was the only one I trusted for a long time.  When Kamille and I met she had just got engaged to Clint, her late first husband.  Clint passed away in 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Meanwhile, Cody was also going through a life trial with his late wife Lisa, who also was fighting cancer.  Sadly they both passed away and left Kamille to raise 3 kids and Cody to raise 4.  Happenstance brought the two of them together and now they have this beautiful blended family.

It’s pretty amazing that the children all can relate with losing a parent and both Kamille and Cody can relate with losing a spouse.

I photographed their wedding at the Salt Lake Temple and their reception at the Salt Lake Hardware building.  Something that I really loved about their reception was each child had their own “wedding cake”.  The cake was designed after each child to show their personalities….it was genius.

It was a beautiful day for this family!
