This is one of my favorite family sessions of all time……even though it’s YEARS old.   Back in 2012 when we did this family session it was conceived out of a conversation I had with my good friend Natalie.  We were talking about what she wanted to do for her family session and we were tossing around tons of different ideas.  Our conversation shifted from photo shoots to what our kids were ‘into’.  She mentioned how her boys were OBSESSED with superheroes.  It was then I had a idea “hey, Nat….let’s do a Superhero Session.”  I talked about different things we could do and the session was created!  It was perfect for the stage of life her family was in at the time.

We decided the perfect place for the session would be on top of a parking garage in Salt Lake City.  We started the session with ‘normal’ portraits and then we let loose and they became the SUPER FAMILY that they are!

I adore this family and how much they have added to my life and how they are raising their children!  They are the example we all should follow!
