Several years ago I did this photoshoot and I was so excited to shoot it.  And then I shot it and I wasn’t excited at all.  The day was so cold and windy and I felt like all the images were blah because of the wind.  When I did this session I was very much into a ‘perfect’ picture phase.  If something seemed wrong, then it was out.  So the fact that it was windy and hair was all over the place I was convinced that these images were poop.  So today I was going through past sessions and I pulled this one up and I was like “dang, I like the windy hair!”  So I decided to quickly edit some so I could share them.

Things don’t have to be perfect for them to be great.  Things don’t have to be perfect to be able to learn from it.  Things don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.   So here is my imperfect session…and I think that it’s pretty perfect because of it’s imperfections.
