Years ago I got an email from a designer asking if I would like to shoot some of her designs.  There was a little bit of miscommunication and we never ended up working together.  Years went by and then I we re-connected.  However neither of us knew we were reconnecting.  Her first business had a different name and she forgot she had emailed me.  And because of the different name, I didn’t realize she was the same person.  Then one day I was looking for an email from her and I typed in her name to search for the email and this YEARS old email popped up.  I laughed so hard for many different reasons.   When I finally met Elizabeth in person while I was in Texas to teach a workshop I told her about the email…we both laughed and laughed about it.  And we both agreed that the time wasn’t right, but now it was.

I so love shooting for Bentley and Lace.  Elizabeths designs seem to match my style perfectly.  Last spring she sent me a handful of designs that she was thinking about discontinuing, but she hadn’t ever had them professionally photographed.  So I gathered a handful of models and we went out and photographed them……we knocked out these images in a matter of minutes and called it good!

I freaking love my job.
