When I talked to Courtney about what she wanted for her bridals she was open to so many different ideas, but after talking about the feel of her wedding and the colors I just new just where we should shoot. There is a location that I love up Little Cottonwood Canyon, just south of Salt Lake City. It’s a location that is mostly used for hiking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. I just knew the colors would match her colors and it would have the feel she was wanting. I about died when a huge pine tree had fallen on the path I wanted to shoot on. What was I going to do? And then I thought “oh this is lovely” and we used it for our shoot. It was beyond gorgeous. As a matter of fact, I went up there the next week so I could do a shoot with the fallen tree….and someone removed it. So I’m glad it worked out for this session at least.
Courtney is a gorgeous bride and I feel so grateful that I got to be her photographer
