This wedding was a challenge for me to photograph…not because of the wedding or the couple or the venue or the details. Oh no….all of this was amazing. It was hard because it was the day that divorce was finalized. So as I’m doing everything in my power to be so happy for my beautiful couple…I was fighting back tears.

I’ll never forget when Gage saw Hannah for the first time and his emotion. I was overcome with all sorts of emotions. I was so happy for their love and so sad for the loss of mine. But when I left this wedding, I had a very clear moment… “This is why you do what you do, because you know love is possible.” And so I decided that I would dive in more fully to photographing weddings. My heart is so happy for these two and the reminder to me that love is possible!
