Getting adult children on the same schedule to do family portraits can be tricky. I try to be flexible with my clients to allow them to find the best date that works for them and myself. Sometimes it means shooting in September at 3pm…which is a little early…but hell if that’s what works; that is what works. One thing I pride myself on is the ability I have to make it work…to utilize light in the best way possible. I don’t find it a problem to have to shoot midday at all…is it always the most perfect light? No, but when you know what you’re doing…it shouldn’t matter.
