I grew up dancing and then I taught dance.  Dance was always such a HUGE part of my life.  So when I started photographing dancers I felt like I was ‘coming home’.  I love being able to photograph high school drill teams because the girls work so hard.  It’s not like some dancers from studios where ‘mom’ is making you dance.  The girls on drill team wants to be there and it moves my soul.  When I photograph them dancing I can tell they WANT to be there.  And I love photographing teenagers so it just feel so right.

We started their pictures at a location in Downtown Salt Lake City, however it wasn’t conducive for what they really wanted..so we switched to the Utah State Capitol Building.

I love what I offer drill teams.  Unlike other photographers who photograph drill teams I offer a variety of images for each dancer.  I also offer options for dancers to purchase different packages which makes it nice for everyone to be able to afford pictures.
