I first met the Jager Family when I was photographing the dance studio that the girls dance at. Shortly after I was contacted to photograph their family portraits. We decided to shoot at the Utah State Capitol Building. When I arrived they let me know that Aimee (mom) was having her parents stop by to pop into a few of their portraits. When I started photographing Grandma and Grandpa, I instantly fell in adoration with them. They were so friendly and fun. I never thought “I would like to older couples”…but they made me totally want to. They were not just so sweet with me, they were sweet with each other. When I was done photographing them, they both wrapped me in a huge hug and called me ‘sweetie’. Melted my heart.
I was then told “we have this sign we want to have a picture with”. I thought it was going to be a tiny sign. OH NO…it’s huge and freaking adorable. I asked “what are you going to do with it?” and they said “it’s going on our wall next to our pictures. I thought that is the most awesome idea. I would totally love if more clients did this.
Anyway, I love the Jager Family…I now consider them more than clients, they are truly my friends.
Oh and P.S…..I have already decided my daughter is going to marry their oldest son!
XOXO
